WOW.. It's been a long time since I've said this about an act. I admire the long hours it must have taken to assemble your show... you're blessed to have a talented folks without any Diva attitudes. Last night I only planned on sticking around for 15 minutes.. I ended up being drawn into sets 3 and 4 -- bought 3 beers when planned on 1 --- this is exactly what a venue host is looking for. For a first outing, you have tons to be proud of. Assuming everything is well balanced, managed and executed, this is the type of act brides, outdoor events and parties are seeking. 2 elements stuck out.. 1-Frontline were attractive, welcoming and cool 2-Solos were limited to one turn around and did not get "worn out." It's rare to see a group that makes the 10 person sacrifice. I wish the best for you and am bummed your quality is not broadcast accross the market.
I heard your show last night. I was so impressed! It was not just another cover band. Your arrangements were great with interesting, clean, and effective segues. I can tell you put a lot of work into this SHOW. You should be able to charge good money for this act(corporate gigs etc.), because your show is familiar material that people want to dance to. It is seemless: the guitars, piano, drummer, 3 horns, and singing sounds great. Both Paul and Stephanie shine! Some tunes were done as short medleys, just enough to throw the song in and move on. Good idea. It keeps moving. Lots of tunes in that show! I noticed, except for the horns, you don't have charts up there. Everyone seems to know what to do and when. WOW! You have an entertaining and lively pace. It will keep the audience happy and moving. Great job! I wish you all the luck. Congratulations! Sincerely, Dorothy Doring
